Will it be Full of Pigeons?

Today we headed to Pigeon Forge, TN to get my next shot glass! On the way, we decided to break up the drive by stopping and walking around Chattanooga, TN. We left Atlanta around 9am and arrived in Chattanooga around 11am.

After checking out the river, we continued walking to find the Trail of Tears Memorial. It was really interesting. It is a set of stairs with water flowing from the top to the bottom. You could either walk on the dry part of the stairs or you could walk in the water. I chose the water option!

We returned to our car around noon and continued on to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! We first drove past Pigeon Forge to go into Gatlinburg. We arrived in Gatlinburg around 3pm. The town was really cool. It was situated in a valley with mountains all around it. My dad and I decided to go up in the Gatlinburg Space Needle (my mom doesn’t like heights, so she stayed on the ground). The view was incredible!

After walking around Gatlinburg, we drove back to Pigeon Forge around 5pm. We acquired the shot glass and saw some really neat buildings in Pigeon Forge.

After having dinner at a Ruby Tuesday’s outside of Pigeon Forge, we checked in to our hotel around 8:30pm and now we are relaxing. Tomorrow we are heading to Nashville. 7 down, 2 to go!
