Today we explored Brussels! Our first exploration was to find all of the Pis statues. Manneken Pis, the most famous one, was our first stop. Manneken Pis was about a block from the Grand Place, which was a couple of blocks east of our hotel. We then headed about 7 blocks north to find Jeanneke Pis, the female equivalent of Manneken Pis. Jeanneke Pis was in an alley off of a street with a lot of restaurants. We had pizza for lunch at a place called La Cambusa. It was pretty good. Then we set off to find the last of the Pis statues: Zinneke Pis. Zinneke Pis was about 2 blocks west of our hotel.
After seeing all the Pis statues, we decided to take a bus tour of Brussels so that we could see more of the city. I really wanted to visit the Atomium, but it was pretty expensive and we also didn’t have enough time to see it and do everything else that we wanted to do. After the bus tour, we went back to our hotel and had dinner. Now we are relaxing and will be heading to bed soon to get ready to go to Cologne tomorrow.
